Govern For America’s League of Innovators brings together leaders and trailblazers from government, academia, nonprofits, and the private sector who believe in government’s ability to make meaningful change, solve community challenges, and respond to the needs of residents.

League Members are dedicated leaders who are committed to government innovation and supporting emerging talent. They offer mentorship, informational interviews, and subject matter expertise to help Fellows and the GFA network.

League Member Spotlights

  • Alexis Davis

    The foundation of my work is advocating for children and families in Southeastern Michigan through policy making and civic engagement. I work with elected officials and community organizations to implement sound policy at the state and local level.

  • Alexis Wichowski

    I've spent twenty years working as a problem-solver in government, media, and tech. I thrive with the constraints inherent to government, as they force me to source new approaches for solving problems. My service background includes disaster relief, national security, e-government, digital diplomacy, government start-ups, and federal and municipal agencies.

  • Antoinette 'Toni' Gingerelli

    My work focuses on mainstreaming a gendered lens in public policy to better reflect the experiences of women and girls and creating a more equitable economy for all. Before graduate school, I worked in the nonprofit sphere and state government with an emphasis on outreach and policy design.

  • Erin L. Johnson

    Quality assurance, implements policies and procedures, ensures and maintains conformity with operational procedures, provides and promotes customer service excellence, for the NJ Motor Vehicle Agency in Camden.

  • Hector Omar Oseguera, Jr. Esq.

    My day job is reviewing financial activity to detect signs of illicit activity, and for fun I fight for progressive policies against an entrenched political machine.

  • Jamie Ding

    I use my skills in research and analysis to assist various divisions of the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency. My tasks include analyzing Census data, researching potential policy recommendations, and examining agency programs. I am still new to my role and am working to make it my own.

  • Kayla Rosen

    I work with Human Services, Health, and Education to ensure that the system of support and service for little kids and their families—child care, Pre-K, doula services, pediatrics, etc.—is coordinated and equitable.

  • Kishan Yerubandi

    My current technical focus is data engineering, while my political consulting work covers a broad spectrum from campaign strategy to communications.

  • Maureen Dizon

    ​​Lead and provide direction on implementation of statewide projects, especially for strategic investment, budgeting, and monitoring of federal COVID-19 recovery grants. Facilitate and manage COVID-19 health and safety response as liaison with the Department of Health on K-12 vaccination outreach, school-based testing, and ongoing data monitoring and operations.

  • Michael Miller

    Working with local nonprofits, municipal/state/federal officials (elected and appointed) and other organizations to coordinate systems-level responses to substance use, mental health care access and criminal justice reform.

  • Raja Sooriamurthi

    My research, teaching, and community outreach interests span the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, big data, software development and creative problem solving.

  • Suwie Pujeh

    I am currently working in the New York State Department of Labor providing workforce development in the Registered Apprenticeship program of the Division of Employment and Workforce Solutions. I assist private businesses and employers in developing new programs and trades.

  • Tania Arrayales

    I am Chief of Staff with over 13 years of marketing & operations experience within tech, hospitality and politics.
